30 of Discipline by Victor Pride
(30 Days For the Rest of Your Life)
Discipline is the perquisite for success. Arguably, the only one.
You can have talent, potential, resources, free time, a resume, a plan and even a big _______ - but without discipline, you'll always underachieve.
I rarely recommend other self-improvement resources.
Sometimes it's because I'm skeptical if the authors have actually put in the time or have any real experience (YEARS) what they are talking about.
Even if their suggestions are good.
But more often, it's because simply adding additional resources, no matter how insightful or thoughtful, doesn't guarantee any added progress.
In fact, many times, it can hinder progress as your flakey brain becomes once again refocused and temporarily excited on yet another vision, blueprint, goal or school of thought.
I had that problem and one of my role models called me out on it in 2009.
NOTHING you read (including my blog) actually changes your life or actually qualifies as learning. (how learning actually works)
That might be news to you, but it's the Secret of the Universe that very few authors admit.
Since I like to give away everything/anything I can for free-
I even less frequently recommend information that you have to pay for, especially eBooks that I personally have a hard time engaging myself in.
But I have a recommendation for you. It's an eBook.
It's one of the best, most concise and most importantly - MOST ACTIONABLE resources I have ever seen on ANY SUBJECT.
It's called-
FYI- The book is $10 and I get a small commission if you purchase the book.
While the little commission is nice - the feeling of saying "I TOLD YOU SO" is even better. :)
The book is a mere 25 pages long but has more impact and more applicable than any 100-200-300 page "guide" that I never made it through.
I highly recommend it to you and I recommend that you print the entire thing out and read NOTHING else until you complete it.
If your life is more comfortable than fulfilling and need to get your shit together (you guys know who you are)- only YOU can do that.
But Victor makes it a hell of a lot easier.
If I ever made a program on how to become incredibly self-disciplined- this is EXACTLY what it would look like.
Like all humans, I've been in several slumps in my life- and I only wish this book was around in my 20's when I needed it.
The book is designed to help you shed unproductive habits, disorganized planning and daily underachievement.
The book is also designed to CHALLENGE YOU.
Be warned, however, his book isn't for guys that just want to "learn discipline" -- it's for that have want to LIVE IT .
As Victor says-
30 Days of Discipline IS NOT a 'support' book.Support is for the weak who need it.30 Days of Discipline is a STRENGTH book.
It's a challenge and it something you can proud of if you choose to see it through.
The likelihood that you revert to your previous ways after 30 days is small. You'll have too much pride for that.
About 30 Days of Discipline - 12 Core Habits
Victor has 12 specific habits of discipline that you are to follow without exception for 30 days.
For example (I love this one)-
Every day for 30 days your answers to yes or no questions are "YES" or "NO". Excuses and explanations DO NOT follow your answer.
You might not agree with or understand all the habits - but he'll explain them to you - one by one.
Even if you aren't fully onboard at first, you won't be able to deny their purpose and eventual effectiveness.
For some guys, especially the guys that need the most improvement, many of these habits will be a struggle to adapt.
The struggle yields progress, so long as you choose to fight instead rest in your usual comfort zone.
It's exposure therapy- 24/7, with some time to watch NFL football on Sunday.
Am I a Candidate For 30 Days of Discipline?
For most guys- If you lack discipline, you know it and I encourage you to surrender.
For some guys- the issue is a little less black or white.
Let me ask you something.
If you have been reading my website, especially if you properly introduced yourself as a member of our forum, you have probably come across my hopefully exceedingly repetitive question-
"If you could accomplish ONE THING and ONLY ONE THING in the next year, what would it be?"
Think back to when I asked you that question.
How long ago was it?
- 1 week?
- 1 month?
- 4 months?
- 1 year???
In that period of time, however long it was, how much closer are you to accomplishing that ONE THING?
If the answer isn't CLOSER AND CLOSER EVERY SINGLE DAY, then you might to want to DROP all the Good Looking Loser stuff and focus solely on Victor's book.
That's right, bye bye Chris- Hello Victor.
Don't worry, I'll still be here preaching all the obnoxious, high-class-low-life stuff I live by.
I ain't going no where. Will you?
If you still aren't sure, consider this -
What is the worst thing that can happen if you dropped ALL of your goals and plans for 30 days and focused solely on his program?
Nothing.
Especially if you feel like your life is at a constant stalemate.
It better to increase your productivity NOW rather than half-ass it for the next decade.
At the same time, once you know that have discipline (and it translates to daily results) - your goal shouldn't be to "increase productivity".
You aren't the 'Director of Human Resources' at some soul-crushing corporation.
Your goal should to be apply our success principles (or similar) and knock out your short-term goals ONE by ONE until you achieve your long-term goal.
If you know anything about football, you'll know why I chose this guy to be the face of discipline.
Decisions, Decisions, Questions, Questions...
So now you have some decisions to make and some questions to answer-
- Are you getting anything out of Good Looking Loser or is it just "awesome"?
- Are you near to or have you accomplished anything significant in since October 30th, 2012?
- Are you moving ahead in your life like you think you should be?
- Have you actually decided on the ONE SIGNIFICANT GOAL that you'd like to accomplish in the next year?
- Have your truly made your #1 GOAL also your #1 Priority?
- Are you sure you aren't in denial? (and telling your that you are "Working Smarter, Not Harder" to justify an mediocre work ethic?
- Have you even stopped for a minute to "Define Success"?
- Are you CLOSER AND CLOSER EVERY SINGLE DAY?
A simple YES or NO will do.
If the answers to those questions are anything other than YES, check out his book-
* Furthermore, we cordially invite you to follow the program, log your process and stay accountable in a special forum we just opened up strictly for this book-

(opened November 1, 2013)
I want to say (if it's not obvious or if you haven't seen my friends-of-GLL page)-
I'm a FAN of Victor at Bold & Determined.
I don't like that word nor do I say it too often.
His blog is excellent and I actually found it by myself when I was searching for REAL LIFE experience with the compound "Modafinil".
I'm so busy these days but it's a blog that actually read when I get a chance. He's one of the guys that legitimately tries to help people and isn't just another Internet marketer.
